This is a touchscreen found on many HP, Dell and Medion PC's. There is an experimental driver for it, called nwfermi, which consists of a kernel module (source code) and an executable which must run in the background (closed binary only). First install the packages build-essential and dkms: sudo apt-get install build-essential dkms Then download the latest .deb file suitable for your architecture from here: https://launchpad.net/nwfermi/trunk (or use one of the attached files below) and install it using: sudo dpkg -i file.deb After rebooting your system the touchscreen should work.
